The Lotus Children (TLC) was founded with the vision to create a world in which all children with autism can access high-quality ABA therapy, no matter their family's financial situation or geographical location.

To support underprivileged children and families affected by autism throughout the world by providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services and related resources.

The Lotus Children (TLC) was founded in 2015 by Karelix Alicea following over 14 years of experience working as a behavior analyst in the homes of special needs children and families throughout South Florida. Her experiences allowed her to learn of their struggles all too well, and her conclusion was a simple one: when a child is affected by autism, the entire family needs support. The financial burden of raising a special needs child is a difficult one to bear and often results in children who lack the necessary tools to be successful in their natural environment and in their local communities. Furthermore, the parents and primary caretakers of these children are often overworked, overstressed, and overwhelmed by their day-to-day responsibilities. Autism heroes, autism ninjas, autism super moms and dads...TLC is here for you! Because we know that even heroes need a helping hand sometimes.
